We are pleased to look back on the successful 8th Cross-Border Seminar on Electroanalytical Chemistry (CBSEC). Over three days, researchers, students, and professionals came together to exchange ideas, present their latest work, and strengthen international collaborations in the field of electroanalytical chemistry.
The seminar featured a diverse and high-quality scientific program, including inspiring keynote lectures and engaging oral presentations. Topics ranged from electrochemical sensing and biosensors to energy-related applications and novel analytical methodologies, reflecting the breadth and innovation of the field.
Beyond Science: Building Connections
In addition to the scientific sessions, CBSEC once again emphasized the importance of personal exchange and networking. Informal moments during coffee breaks, as well as social events such as the conference dinner and barbecue, created valuable opportunities for discussion and collaboration in a relaxed atmosphere.
We would like to thank all participants for making this event such a stimulating and collaborative experience. We are especially grateful for the long-standing cooperation between the Czech Society of Chemistry (CSCH) and the German Chemical Society (GDCh), which continues to make CBSEC possible.
A special thank you goes to the organizers Jens Zosel, Frank-Michael Matysik, Jiri Barek, and Gerd-Uwe Flechsig for their dedication and excellent organization. We are already looking forward to the next edition of CBSEC and to continuing this valuable cross-border exchange!
