The DIANA alliance is one of the successful 23 concepts that the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has selected for funding as part of the structural change program: “WIR! – Change through innovation in the region”.

As part of this initiative, the DIANA Workstation provides a platform for exchange between stakeholders from science, industry, and application. It promotes dialogue on innovative diagnostic approaches, particularly in the field of point-of-care technologies, and supports the development of new ideas, collaborations, and projects.

The upcoming DIANA Workstation on “POCT for environmental diagnostics – diagnostics for water, soil, air and hazardous situations” will highlight the use of miniaturized sensor systems for rapid, on-site environmental analysis. Bringing together experts from research and practice, it will address current challenges and application needs in areas such as water monitoring, agriculture, and civil protection, while encouraging interdisciplinary exchange and new collaborative initiatives.
